Developing a Protocol for a Systematic review
Designed for reviewers who have already identified a question of interest for review and are either working on, or planning to start work on, a protocol. We begin with a brief overview of the format of a protocol for a review. A mixture of presentations, small group activities and discussion sessions then gives participants the opportunity to develop and refine their own protocols. This module also covers locating studies, critical appraisal and collecting data.
If you wish to attend this module but do not know how to contact the relevant Cochrane review group to register your review title, please contact the New Zealand Branch of the Australasian Cochrane Centre for advice.

Analysis
Analysis is designed for both new reviewers (to help them complete the methods section of their protocol) and reviewers who may need help and dedicated time with the conversion of their protocol to a review. We strongly recommend that participants intending to register for this module first attend the module on Developing a protocol for a systematic review.
Analysis aims to help reviewers analyse and interpret the findings of a systematic review. The program is a mixture of presentations and practical sessions covering the following issues:
applying eligibility criteria
binary and continuous data
extracting data
heterogeneity
sensitivity and subgroup analyses
detecting bias
Review Completion
A course designed to provide dedicated time and support to reviewers who are struggling to find the time to complete their review.
